Donni Parkinson used to be a rookie archaeologist working as part of an international employment program in college. She wished to be an archaeologist just like her father, who died two years prior. She travelled to Greece as part of her archaeology tour. It was a sunny, balmy day at the rocky digging site, where the group had taken a long time to travel to the site. Donni had medium length orange hair and was wearing a white shirt with Khaki pants.
While digging with her group mates, she had unwittingly uncovered an underground ancient altar in which a portal opened up and through it traveled a cloaked, hooded mage. "Aaaah!";, Donni screamed surprisedly. The mage proclaimed with a stern voice, "Who dares desecrate this temple?" "I-I did," Donni said weakly. "I-I mean, I just came down here and…Uh--" The mage walked closer to Donni. "Who are you? SPEAK!" The Mage demanded. Donni then introduces herself, "Donni Parkinson. I'm an archaeologist. I was part of a digging group. The ground opened up under me and I just fell down here. I didn't mean to cause any trouble, but I don't know how to get back out of here...please don't hurt me..." Donni feared for the worst to happen to her. The mage looked closely into Donni's eyes. The mage then removed the hood revealing the face of a black-haired, sapphire-eyed woman.
She began to speak. "I am Delphi, mage of this world, and you may be the one prophesied by the heavens to protect this world from darkness." Donni replied quizzically, "I am?" "Yes," Delphi said. Donni then asked, "...but how am I supposed to do that?" Delphi then placed her hand onto Donni's chest and then channeled strange powers into her body. Donni then noticed her body change. Her muscles started growing from bottom to top and her clothes started ripping at the seams. Her hair started growing longer until it was almost down to her buttocks.
Donni then started to panic. "AAAAAAAAAH!!!! What did you do to me?!?!?!?" Delphi stated, "I have bequeathed you with the powers of the Sun and the Earth. With these powers, you will be able to fulfill this prophecy." "But I look like a FREAK and my clothes are destroyed!!!" Donni screamed. Delphi admonished her, "Your appearance is of little consequence. The fate of the entire world is at stake. Now, you must come with me. I must train you, so that you will know your true potential." Donni asked, "You mean, through there?" Delphi replied, "Yes." Donni then said, "OK, but after we go through there, can I get some new clothes? I'm starting to get a draft."
Donni and Delphi went through the portal to a calm world with majestic mountains, spring-green forests, and sparkling lakes. Delphi then stated, “This is Elysium, the mystic realm and my homeland.” Donni said, “Wow, this is beautiful!” Delphi replied, “Indeed. However, you must remember the mission. We must head towards the secret arena.” Delphi led Donni to a hidden valley, in which lies a building that resembles the Roman Colosseum in its prime. It is there that Donni received her fighting uniform and had to test her powers against many beasts of Greek Mythology that Delphi has summoned, such as Harpies, Minotaurs, and the Hydra. Since then, Donni has realized many of her powers, including the ability to fly. She even had to test her powers against Delphi herself.
One year later, Donni had become a new woman who calls herself Prima Donna. She had grown more muscular and had much control over her sun and earth powers. Delphi gave her special golden bracelets. Delphi said, “These bracelets will help you to further control your powers and to ensure responsible use of them. But be forewarned, even with these precautions, it is only you who must take full responsibility of these powers. You must use them only for good.” Donni said, “Thank you, Miss Delphi. But how will I hide this body? You probably want me to keep this between the two of us, plus people might be scared of me.” Delphi replied, “This is why I will also give you this.” She puts a ring with a blue jewel on Donni’s finger. Donni then shrinks back to her old self. “This will help you remain a civilian until your powers are needed.” Delphi said. Donni said, “I will try to make you proud, Miss Delphi”. Then Delphi returned Donni back home in the United States. Then Donni realized that the “year” in Delphi’s realm only lasted a few weeks in her world. However, remembering what Delphi told her, Donni will use her Prima Donna alter ego to fight evil and injustice around the world.
